This course will support you by:

Helping you to identify if your organisation has need of a volunteer programme (including policies, systems and structures).
Explaining the process of planning a volunteer programme.
Explaining how volunteers can help achieve your organisation’s strategic aims.
Outlining the implications of relevant legislation relating to the management of volunteers.
Explaining promotion, recruitment, selection and induction processes as relates to volunteers.
Defining key management skills in relation to volunteers.
Helping you to support and supervise volunteers.
Explaining the importance of developing learning opportunities for volunteers.

Completing the Course:

At the end of the course you will be asked to complete an Overall Assessment consisting of open-ended questions designed to check the knowledge you have acquired. The assessment will be marked by a globe tutor and you will receive feedback on your answers. If, at the first attempt you are unsuccessful, you can resubmit your answers. Once you have passed the course you will receive a globe Certificate of Completion via email as well as an ILM Certificate by post.
